Year 3/4 Class Teacher – Long-Term Maternity Cover

We are working with a welcoming and highly regarded village primary school seeking an enthusiastic and committed Year 3/4 Class Teacher to join their team on a long-term maternity cover from September 2026 until December 2027.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a close-knit school community where every child is known, valued and encouraged to flourish. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the class, including planning, preparation, assessment, parent communication and all associated teaching responsibilities. The school would also consider a job share arrangement for two exceptional candidates.
The school prides itself on providing a nurturing, supportive environment where children are inspired to develop curiosity, resilience, compassion, responsibility, fairness and positivity. Staff work collaboratively to deliver engaging, creative learning experiences that encourage pupils to achieve their full potential academically, socially and emotionally. Strong relationships between staff, pupils and families are at the heart of the school's success, creating a positive atmosphere where both children and adults thrive. The school's values are embedded throughout daily life, alongside a broad and enriching curriculum that encourages a genuine love of learning.
