£90–£105 per day (dependent on experience)

Some of the key responsibilities of the role include

  •  Provide consistent 2:1 support throughout the school day

  • Support learning, communication, and engagement in structured and sensory activities

  • Implement behaviour support strategies and respond safely to challenging behaviours

  • Assist with personal care while maintaining dignity and wellbeing

  • Build a trusting, nurturing relationship with the child

  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and families

  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to support plans

  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

Some of the key responsibilities of the role include

  •  Provide consistent 2:1 support throughout the school day

The successful candidate will have

  • Experience supporting children with SEND, autism, complex needs, or challenging behaviour

  • Calm, patient, and emotionally resilient approach

  • Confident in using positive behaviour management and deescalation strategies

  • Comfortable providing personal care

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Reliable, flexible, and committed to supporting the child’s development


Desirable Experience

  • Previous LSA or TA experience

  • Experience with complex SEND or highneeds pupils

  • Training in behaviour management or deescalation

  • Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, health & social care, or SEND
