Some of the key responsibilities of the role include

  • Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons

  • Work with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning

  • Assist pupils with additional needs, including SEN

  • Help create a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment

  • Support classroom management and behaviour strategies

The successful candidate will have

  • Experience working with children (school-based or similar settings preferred)

  • A patient, caring, and proactive attitude

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • A genuine passion for education and child development

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3) are desirable but not essential
