  • Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a Year 2 pupil with additional needs.

  • Assist with learning activities, engagement and emotional wellbeing.

  • Support the implementation of strategies recommended within the pupil's EHCP.

  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff, parents and external professionals where appropriate.

  • Help create a positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.

  • Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is desirable.

  • A patient, empathetic and flexible approach.

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to adapt support strategies to meet the child's individual needs.

  • Relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
