Mornings will be spent delivering structured 1:1 support, while afternoons involve assisting children who find the classroom environment challenging. This role requires patience, creativity, and the ability to motivate a capable learner through short, engaging tasks.

£90–£105 per day (dependent on experience)

Full-Time, Term-Time only, September Start

Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:

Provide consistent 1:1 support to a Year 5 pupil with behavioural needs
Deliver short, motivating learning activities tailored to the child’s strengths
Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
Assist other pupils who struggle to access learning in the afternoons
Work closely with class teachers and SEN staff to implement support plans
Maintain clear, supportive communication with the wider team

The successful candidate will have

Experience supporting children with behavioural needs
Ability to build trust and motivate reluctant learners
Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
Calm, patient and adaptable approach
Understanding of SEND and trauma-informed practice
Reliability and commitment to consistent daily support
