We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed lower key stage 2 Teacher to join a friendly and inclusive primary school, with an ASAP start.

Key responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that meet the needs and abilities of pupils across Lower Key Stage 2.

Develop and deliver learning in line with the school’s bespoke, research-led curriculum.
Create a classroom environment that is inclusive, nurturing, purposeful and supportive of all learners.
Assess, monitor and track pupil progress, using assessment information to adapt planning and teaching.
Differentiate learning effectively to support pupils with a range of needs, including SEN and EAL.
Use appropriate technology and assistive technology to enhance learning and provide personalised support.
Establish positive and respectful relationships with pupils, promoting good behaviour, emotional regulation, independence and resilience.
Provide appropriate challenge and support to ensure all pupils make progress and achieve their potential.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, including teaching assistants and the wider support team, to ensure pupils receive effective and consistent support.
Communicate positively with parents and carers, sharing information about pupils' progress, wellbeing and development.
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including whole-school initiatives, meetings, events and extracurricular activities.
Maintain accurate records relating to planning, assessment, pupil progress and safeguarding.
Promote and uphold the school’s vision, values, policies and safeguarding responsibilities.
Participate in professional development and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and reflective practice.
Support the development of pupils as independent, confident and engaged learners.
